What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing channel? And why should an online marketer have one?

It is a marketing strategy to convince potential customers to buy products from your company. It is a process of selling in which someone visits your website to look up information that will solve their problem. With certain tools, you can learn how to develop a relationship and build confidence with every user.

This will help you know the wants and needs of each visitor. This will allow you to provide the best information possible to all your visitors. If you can build trust with a potential customer, they are more likely to buy your products. The customer will then turn into a customer.

Certain customers turn out to be very loyal customers, willing to buy every product you advertise. A marketing funnel includes all of the steps required to convert a regular user of your site into a loyal client and purchase every item you offer.

This is the ultimate goal of any internet marketer. This can be achieved easily with a properly designed funnel.

Your marketing materials are now attracting people's attention and guiding them to the funnel. Once they fill out the PERSONAL form, they are automatically enrolled in the funnel. I use the word "personal" because nobody will ever opt-in on your business lead capture page. They are looking to become a leader and not a company.

The page for lead capture is the entrance into the funnel - when they click that "Sign up now" or "Enter Here" button, they enter a whole new concept in network marketing.

This is how a typical advertising funnel functions.

The "front-end" The "front-end" is where you make a promotional offer that can draw and attract potential customers who might be interested in purchasing your products further in the sales funnel. You must sign up to get the product (also known as opt-in) and enter your email address as well as name. They will then be added to your email marketing list.

Once you have your contacts on your email, you are able to make them aware of offers that are similar to theirs.

After signing up for the offer, the user will be directed to a webpage that provides an affordable price, or, as it's known, a tripwire offer. At this point, they will be taken to the "back end" of your funnel.

If the buyer purchases the lowest priced offer and is accepted, they are taken directly to a similar deal at a higher price (commonly known as an Upsell). A person who also purchases the lower priced offer will be directed to the next comparable product at a more expensive price. The list could go on and on...
